Personality - Poem by Misty Lackey

Black eye.
Softened tooth.
The origin of our sight.
A conflict between personality
contained silence.
Assist love.
Support faith.
Organ blue eyes.
Intentions swift.
The mindless bleed.
Opening souls decaying
jars buttonhole sun.

Influenced by light
a manner of thinking we
are legally blind.
Through the eye of waiting
paid in full the sleeping
fog's door.

Attracting the day with
air fixed biology arms
for frog legs departed
from the stove broken
to knowledge.

View a trip to
the ground roses
for you and an angel.
Preaching millions
whispering we are
a wire.
Optic time
hollow and blue.
Appearing inner personality
words allowed wounded
through and through guilty
hang on, scream!

Empty lockett.
Rusted rain.
Loved from
being alone.
Trees for ghosts.
Mothers for babies.
Teeth for the tongue.
Eyes for a God.

Personality.
A eye for a needle.
Cold with winter's
strength.
Warm because of life.
Live your soul
that's all you
really can do.

Alive
Free
as
a
BirdBroken
on a wing.
