Petal Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

It is in the morning
I wake up early to take a walk
When a flower is
Blooming near the gate upon a tender stalk

Its petals are curling
Out splashed with many a colors
Swinging in cool wind
Glowing fresh in dew's overnight showers

Its fragrance draws
From afar many a birds and bees
Dancing around it
To curled petals they gently kiss and tease

I stand for a while
And enjoy its swing and raw beauty
A creation of God it is
Spreading love and silently doing its duty
