Phantasma Poem by G J Salgado

Phantasma

My thoughts and feelings have no price
You can't get them for free
I'm not for sale there's no compromise
You can't get to what's inside of me

Look before you get too close
You don't like me and I don't care
You are the one I hate the most
Just lick your lips stand there and stare

Chances are you dream of me
Your nightmares choose just who you are
I love haunting your dreams
You cry when it's gone too far

Don't get near my fire
A solar eclipse don't blind your eyes
I'm more pure than your wildest desire
You're seeking me but you're the one I despise

Drowning in my ocean
You can't touch the bottom
My heart is here within
But it's not my problem

Chances are I still haunt you
Your nightmares become what you see
Promises that taunt you
Like you used to do
Haunting you haunting me

My body dances in the flame
Before you can remember my name
Don't worry because I've already changed it
I don't worry cause I don't fake $hit

Chances are you dream of me
Your nightmares choose just who you are
I love haunting your dreams
You cry when it's gone too far

Chances are I forgot all about you
I used you up chewed you up you came out in my spit
Before I even got a taste
Don't you wish you could get a taste
Now it's just poison on my lips
You're a phantom and you ain't $hit
