Phototropism Poem by Pranab K Chakraborty

Phototropism

Masterly brazen the soil
you sucked
with audacious velocity to reach
a non-steamed burn

When eagerly eunuch
tried to restrain a small part
you kept with hovering hallucination
random rain poured bugling blinding galaxy

a hooker only observed the episode
without knowing the catastrophe
but hell that high soil
simply ground her by a tremor

Brazen soil mastered the art of profiling
emission of robust rattling
and you an microscopic insect
never knew the capacity of consuming
gracious and warm harrow of the time

Just look midnight yet awaits far to climb
the bond they stipulated by their birth right
no other way to skip its atrocity
yet and yet
you
a legend tried to embark the shadow of the past
bites are strong, hold the pain of penetration !
