Pick Your Craze Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Pick Your Craze

Pick which craze,
Is better suited...
To a list of medications,
Being offered these days.
Without a need,
From a doctor to prescibe.
In these times,
When holding onto a consciousness...
Is getting close to be considered,
A criminal activity.
And threatens those diagnosed,
With authority given...
To be out of their minds.

Pick your craze.
And which is better suited,
For a vaccine or pills to take.
That promises every memory one has.
Attempting to compare,
The bad times to have lived them...
Had been much better,
Than the worst of times too unbelievable...
To believe these days,
Are permitted with a consciousness to exist!

"Come.
Long time I wait for you.
Come come.
Here...
I recommend the cinnamon tablets.
Good for breath and sparkling white teeth.
And for overnight stays and prolonged visits,
We have new vaccines.
In a variety of colors.
Especially if you are into,
Those mysterious experiences.
Now...
We do offer samples as well.
However...
We will not be held responsible,
For any delusions you may have...
Of being chosen, a genius.
Or...
Having lower approval ratings,
Than our beloved scientists."
