Piggy Bank Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Piggy Bank

Lately you've been stuck
In my head.
Rattling around the rim
Of my head.
At first it wasn't bad
Stuck with
The thought of you.
Then I caught you
With your hand in my head.
Rattling left, rattling right,
rattling all about.
Lately you've been stuck
In my head.
I've tried to get you out
But you're always in my head.
The difference in being weighed
Down by what you can't see.
And the stress of what you can.
If one day I rattled
& exploded at the thought
Of you.
Would you float away with me
Or would I be the only one
counting loose change
