Pink Apron Poem by D.N. Rebb

Pink Apron

Rating: 5.0

Does this apron make me look fat?
He asks
Fat? No,
But very feminine
She replies
Does that bother you?
He questions
Why does it have to be pink?
She poses
A blue one would have been better?
He inquires
Yes, perhaps,
And without the pretty ruffles
What?
You don't like the pretty ruffles?
No, nor the tiny, stitched flowers
Wow,
And here I thought this apron makes me look fat
No, that it does not
Well, that's good
