She needs a place to go
To hide from all her fears
Of lost and broken dreams
A place to shed her tears
He was all she had
Till one day he was gone
She cried for many days
Not knowing what went wrong
She tried to bring him back
But his eyes were dark and cold
So instead she cries alone
And tries to be brave and bold
One night she'd had enough
She finally made up her mind
Grabbed his picture, grabbed her knife
She was going somewhere that was kind
In the morning she was found
Clear out in the woods
With a note down in the mud
'He didn't notice then, did you think that now he would! '
She found a place to go
Now she has no fears
Her dreams aren't lost and broken
And she's no longer shedding tears
