Really is it poetry
where is paradise
friend
someone asked
a masked poet me
replied
where else!
The winding path to paradise
you are welcome to
where angels
as you know reside
I ain't an angel
but a simple poet of peace
who upon souls of human kind
adoration, appreciation
only preach

who slog in the middle of all nights
in search of solace
comforting words
the world with which to preach
the darkness lightens
the dreams awaken

many an imagination
is born to poets
like poet me
who seem to be forlorn
as the morning breeze
beckons 'em
come the sunrise is due
