Played, Splayed! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Played, Splayed!

The tale of time,
The tail of a monkey,
Ad, the snow covered the playground.
It is very warm inside but,
Very cold outside!
Of the echoes of this poem,
Life!
To live;
Wife!
To marry;
Side by side,
But, teach me the rules of this game and,
Let us play by the rules of the laws.
Boy, body!
Value who you are and,
Value what you have in this life;
Kid, kind!
He stands alone in the cold;
Fin, find!
She stands alone in the cold;
Ten, tend!
With the credentials of love;
So engulfed! !
Like the testaments of sweet love.
