Playing Existence Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Playing Existence

Focusing on edges of beyond as I sit here
listening to a live band play my existence
in rhythmic notes, in front of many people.

No longer a secret self, brought out into
the world of musical talent.
Offering up many melodies, to be sent into
interior collections of poetry.

Insinuating themselves in an array of roses,
scented from within depths of my soul,
standing in heaven's realms.
