Please don't look at me
I don't want you to see me cry
I am unhappy
But can't let you know the true reasons as to why.

Please turn around
On my knees, I am pleading
Leave me on the ground
Whilst my heart continues healing.

Please don't judge
There was nothing else I could do
Do not hold a grudge
If I find some things difficult to discuss with you.

Please try and understand
This is not what I wanted
Don't take away your hand
Until my demon's have been confronted.

Please give me a little more time
To open up and trust
Everything in the end will be fine
To keep going, it's a must.

Please don't leave
And give up all hope
I need you with me as I grieve
Without you I can't cope.
