I still remember a time where things were fine,
When our love was strong and you were mine,
When you would hug and kiss me with every chance,
Stare into my eyes and make my beating heart dance,

And your words used to be that of poetry of love,
When you would pray with me to god above,
So we could be inseparable, together forever,
Wishing our love was forever and ended at never,

Your kisses became my alarm clock at every dawn,
Happiness became the pillars of the love that was drawn,
Your hugs became my pillow every single night,
We drew a a present that was so beautiful and bright,

And when i dreamed of the future it seemed so nice,
A life spent with you, my life's sugar and spice,
The reason i live, the reason my world goes round,
The only one on earth that can melt me to the ground,

My diary where I could pour out all my emotion,
Who made me believe that love requires devotion,
I had all i ever wanted when you were by my side,
You are my everything, i wanted to be your bride,

But in a blink of an eye you vanished from my life,
No longer did you have thoughts of making me your wife,
And now i am like a fish upon dry and scorching land,
Slowly burning upon the earth's fine burning sand,

You were the reason for my hope but now you are gone,
Now i reminisce in the abyss of darkness without a new dawn,
I am suffering without your love and i am waiting to die,
Each night i remember those memories that would make me cry,

I have become so much weaker since you have left me behind,
I can barely see a reason for living i have now become blind,
All i can see are the memories of love we once had,
Times i would be happy all day and almost never sad,

And all of your promises that always made me alive,
You became my strength to make me survive,
I know I'm not your perfect companion in this life,
But i still desire your love, i want to be your wife,

I am trying to fix things, i want to make things right,
I want you back in my life, i want things to be alright,
If only I could rewind time and change the present,
Bring back the love, change the way things went,

I could hold you tightly in my arms once again,
Forget the nightmares of the present and all the pain
I would fix every mistake as well as every crime
And maybe we would be together in this present time,

But time travel is but a wishful dream of mine,
A woman left loveless in this present time,
I wish you would please come back home,
Kiss me and hug me, i am so alone,

I promise you i will do whatever it takes,
To make it up to you for all my mistakes,
i want you beside me holding my hand,
I want the joyful moments of love to never end.
