Please Hold On (Faith) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Please hold on sweet lady and have faith
I'm not going anywhere and won't sell you out
just abandoning you to face the cold alone,
please continue to have faith in me and
stick by my side knowing I'm there no matter what.
Please hold on and know that even on the rare days
you may not hear much from me or I may be silent
for whatever reason there may be I'm not gone
nor have I forsaken my only one.
Like that I have been sick and unable to do but
a very little bit there is reason if I cannot do much.
Please take my hand sweet lady and in faith hold on.
I love you sweet Kira and will never abandon you,
I'm by your side hand in hand all the way
wrapping you up in the tightest of squeezes to
reassure you of all my undying love.
Please hold on and have faith sweet lady as through
all eternity I will give you my very best,
you're my Angel and for true happiness my only wish.
