You ask 'How do you start the day'
Sad, I would say
'But there is life to be had'
Yet I am so sad
'Get out there'
Where is there?
Torn in so many ways
Watching the hours to pass the days
Waiting for daylight to return to work again
I get there and what then
I can’t wait for time to pass and go home
For what…endless hours alone.
‘Find a man to make you smile’
Not to worry, I called the yellow pages and he’ll be here in a while
‘Go out and find some fun’
That’s easier said than done
‘It’s been a while, you need to let go’
If you say so
No matter where I turn
There is no end is in sight
For you I yearn
Knowing it’s not right
I know the advice is true
But how do I move on, when my heart still belongs to you….
I've read several of your poems now Ghost...and I must say...I am very impressed by your talent! ! Bravo! ! Hugs, Dee

This is a lovely heartfelt poem, all I can say is that time (yes I know it's a cliche) will help. You may never let go in your heart but the pain that you have now will diminish and become easier to bear. I know it, you just have to believe it...... then it will happen. A beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing. HG: -) xx
