Plotting Gutter Slutters Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Plotting Gutter Slutters

Plotting gutter slutters.
Glossed.
And buffed up.
Appearing to have qualities,
Much above the muck.
Although their evil misdeeds,
To conduct them and instruct...
Is an infestation only to corrupt.
With destruction.

Impressive are their ways to deceive.
So impressive that the people believe,
Them to be the fighters of a righteousness.
Representing interests,
That are only the best...
For the people.
Puppets under buses to crush.

Preferring to hold onto their delusions.
And refusing to believe they've been duped.
The people under buses volunteer,
This crushing to them done...
One day will disappear.

But...
Plotting gutter slutters,
Picked.
Know the people they addict.
With images too slick to resist.
Regardless how below the gutter,
They may rise to disguise their evil.

Since it's all about the image,
That convinces.
It's all about the image that convinces.
And not whose thrown under buses to crush!
