Poem By A Young Girl

Village Belle

Why did I fall in love with a stranger
like you
as you peeped into my eyes
an electric current
went down my spine
then you smiled

why did I give
my heart unto you
that very while
as my heart you captured
in your inimitable style
you smiled

then when we made love
you said
Thank You
why did you again smile
as you were about to leave
I asked you to stay
you said nay

Coward
who in hell will be proud of you
who does not know what love is
and
ought to be true

she picked up a string
and a stone did fling
he bled from his head
coward was dead

she showed no remorse
it was strength
from her innermost
she thought
strange lovers momentary ones
you have met your rightful end

NOTE
Just a thoughtful poem
warning young girls
what can happen
Guys are always
just guys
