Poem for Tina (তিনার জন্যে কবিতা) Poem by Rabindra Gope

I had some desire I had something to say
I had something to get like a pair of eyes like Tina
Like the blue of the sky, like the waves of the ocean
Bosom-full of happiness was due for me, I had some dreams.

I craved for a garden of contentment
I could get a smiling face loke bright-red flower
In my dream, in my contemplation those I was due
I had dreams like Tina have
I had some devotion like Tina's.


I will not count command of the gardener only for a flower
Shall not the sea give me happiness, break down the stone?
Nobody addresses the flower with a name
The gardener do not observe the lustre of the flowers-filled garden
And if I adorn me with scent in my trip, the gardeners will not know.


আমার কিছু আশা ছিল আমার কিছু বলার ছিল
আমার কিছু পাবার ছিল একজোড়া চোখ তিনার মত
আকাশ ভরা নীলের মত সাগর ভরা জলের মত
বুকভরা সুখ প্রাপ্য ছিল আমার কিছু স্বপ্ন ছিল।

চেয়েছিলাম একটি সুখের বাগান পাব
টুকটুকে লাল ফুলের মত একটি মুখের হাসি পাব
স্বপ্নের ভেতর ধ্যানের ভেতর ওসব আমার প্রাপ্য ছিল
তিনার মত আমার কিছু স্বপ্ন ছিল
তিনার মত আমার কিছু প্রেম ছিল।

একটি ফুলের জন্যে আমি মালীর শাসন মানব না
সাগর কি আর দেবে না সুখ পাথরটাকে ভাঙবে না
ফুলকে তো আর নাম ধরে কেউ ডাকবে না
বাগান ভরা ফুলের শোভা মালী তো আর দেখবে না
পথিক আমি চলার পথে গন্ধ মাখি মালী তো তা বুঝবে না।
