Poems Escape Into Their Own Lives Poem by Terence George Craddock

Poems Escape Into Their Own Lives

poems often crave to be complete
poems crave to be beautifully penned
poems crave to take on a life of their own
we breathe life into poems mind born
they take form shape tone personality style
they arise in our mind attain freedom
the ability to travel to multiple locations
to visit places people where we can never go

individually or group interact with minds
personalities we can never meet
but through poems independent sent
we touch other places other lives
smile in a fellowship of literary appreciation
smile in the beauty of thought poetic forms

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Copyright © Terence George Craddock
Written in October 2020 on the 13&14.10.2020.
Inspired by a message in my inbox from the poet Luis Estable.
Dedicated to the poet Luis Estable.
Luis wrote 'Thank you for reading and for the beautiful words you penned. You made the poem come complete.' Luis must be referring to a split image or poem inspired by his poem 'Song # 14'.
In response I wrote the split images 'Babies Birth A White Pearl Moment', 'Too Soon Time Of Black Pearls Will Come' and 'A Touch Of Bliss Then Death Is Not Legacy Finality; and the poem 'Life A String Of Pulsating Pearl Moments'.
