Poetic Mind
I would wish to have a mind
Like that of a poet
Being able to generate thoughts
And express them in writing.
Only then would i be able
To think critically
Capturing every lifes' moment
And put them in writing.
It would be an addiction
To my pen and paper
Armed with my thoughts
Searching through articles
For phrases and idioms
Just to hone my skills.
I would play with words
Employ some aspects of rhyme
And marvel at my artistry
Savoring all the compliments
Coming my way
Oh! How i wish.
It would be an addiction
Hard to fathom
Yet the only place
To seek solace
Whenever my mind is troubled.
