Poetic Purpose Need Be: No More Than Joy Writing Poem by Terence George Craddock

Poetic Purpose Need Be: No More Than Joy Writing

poet and poetaster both wrote poetry
within their own mind time place
within their own space at own pace
purpose in writing poetry can be everything
with intent key insight given by title
themes tone by rhythm rhyme or not
season employed within lines verses or not
satire humour styles as various as passing poems

written released into an immense infinity
of all present past poetic waters still smooth
or ruffling critic feathers reef sinking ships
poetry can focuses upon a purpose reason
an attempt to write a purity of intent a genuine
attempt to unmask perspectives of reality

in slices of life sequence varying polished lines
smooth gritty rough because life is like that
poetry may produce bursts of joy in writing
purpose or no purpose poetaster or poet
all poetry like water has tides ebb flow levels
poetic purpose need be no more than joy writing
