Poetry Is The Light...



Poetry is the light that always shines
Amidst darkness. It satisfies the soul.
It's a gift bestowed by the gods. Its signs
Are subtle. If you care to look around
Closely, you will discover its magic.
It's so enticing. It courts the tragic.
Yet it captures joy and wonder. It seems,
At times, to mirror inner realms of dreams.
