Repeatedly taking the same drug makes a peron an addict. But writing/reading/commenting on POEMS again and again leads to a good habit, a positive addiction. I like this poem - its truth is made clear over and over, but it takes a genuine priest to preach this vigorously. The story of how a person can become a living poem has yet to be written, but these poems about poetry afre a first step in consolidating this liberating truth.
