Poetry is an art,
The art of expression,
Poetry is a sculpture,
A dance posture,
A narrative in song, dance, pose
And posture,
Some lyrical note,
Musical melody breaking,
A painting drawn, sketched and made,
An architectural design,
A terracotta temple,
A rock-cut temple,
The lotus in stone as a carving,
Iconography as well as
Iconoclasm,
To construct as well as to deconstruct
Is poetry,
Poetry as poetical lines
In strict rhythm and rhyme
But broken too as well.
