Politicians: A Consensus In Public Perception? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Politicians: A Consensus In Public Perception?

write I wanted to write something meaningful one day
meaningful is insight sadly not everyone's cup of tea today
many expressional prefer coffee on the run just to have fun
escapism from work life realities when the day is done;
to escape world work worries stresses tired worker is done
tired worker seeking escape thinking to entertainment run
films podcasts netflixs gaming on line all entertaining fine
when pass times desiring to escape truth world inflation;

increasing bills cost of living makes reality a scary place
politics politicians taxes wars lawlessness mass shootings
what can we really expect from world leaders politicians;
what does word politician even really mean to many folks
once colossal joke was a saying not all politicians are liars
it is just the other 99% who give politicians their bad names;

what does trigger word politician really mean to many folks?

is it from roots poly for many and ticks nasty blood suckers?
seems about right shady deals politicians many seem like nasties
truth media exposed self serving blood suckers infest the world?
