Pool Mirror After Halloween Day Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

Pool Mirror After Halloween Day

Rating: 3.9

It's nine o'clock in the morning.
Silver moon hangs low in the west.
This moon is like a silver disc attached to the Autumn sky.
Its silver color is the same as of floating clouds.
Autumn early sun light is pure and clear.
Morning sun hangs low in the east and shines its oblique rays.
The rising sun is ready to celebrate the new day.
The setting moon tries to hold on to the sky as it leaves the night.
Reflections of the sun and of the moon are at the bottom of my pool
Where the sun shines but dim moon appears as a disc of cloud.

Translation of Vietnamese poem of NHIEN NGUYEN MD:

GƯƠNG HỒ SAU NGÀY HALLOWEEN

Sáng nay, đã chín giờ rồi
Mặt trăng lơ lửng lưng trời phương tây.
Trời xanh, đĩa bạc trăng cài
Mầu trăng trắng bạc như mầu mây bay.
Mùa thu, nắng mới trong lành
Mặt trời lơ lửng, nắng vàng chiếu nghiêng.
Mừng ngày, nắng mới đang lên
Nuối đêm, trăng vẫn còn in nền trời.
Đáy hồ, trăng với mặt trời
Mặt trời chiếu sáng, trăng mờ như mây.
