Popcorn Cake Poem by Richard D Remler

Popcorn Cake

............

Wilburn Stryke, for goodness sake,
Fixed a homemade popcorn cake
To celebrate his Birthday day,
And chase his loneliness away.

But then his cake went pop, pop, pop.
It started and it would not stop,
And now he's hiding in his room,
Since his popcorn cake went pop, pop, boom!
