Porpoise In A Peanut Poem by Richard D Remler

Porpoise In A Peanut

There is a porpoise in a peanut.
It's as small as small can be.
It's been hiding in that peanut
Since Nineteen-Fifty-Three.
It is ever so shy,
And it's ever so blue.
I don't believe it will
Ever come out.
Do you?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
"I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities."

DR. SEUSS, (attributed, Life Is Full of Sweet Spots)
