Popularity Poem by Holly Somer

Popularity

You told to give it a try
so I went and took a stand
You said I was too quiet
I don't understand
You yell at me to try then you choose to push me away
I really don't get you
Last concert you didn't put my name in the program
Eventhough I was up on stage
What do you want to do make me cry more?
This isn't good for my rage
Next time you decide make sure it's for the voice
because popularity isn't the way to go
