Praise God For Jesus Christ

Praise God for Jesus Christ
I love that precious name
Who tasted death for every man
That we might live again
His offer it still stands
It can never be diminished
For He brought death to death itself
In His utterance...'It is finished! "

When God in fashion humbled Himself
And became a lowly man
He identified with His Creation
And initiated His plan
The miraculous virgin birth
"One" born without one sin
Who would become obedient unto death
With not one found in Him

Love was never displayed as such
In any man's human dealings
From the forgiveness's for sin
To the heartfelt joy of healings
He who came unto His own
But His own received Him not
Transformed all who believed in Him
Whom with His blood He bought

That name is lifted high
For God has deemed it so
One day every tongue shall confess it's worth
The Bible tells me so
When every knee shall bow
And confess that Christ is Lord
His humility shall be owned
And the worthiness of the Word
