Praise Is Comely

Praise is comely for God's children
For we have been redeemed
Enjoying now the fruits of repentance
Praise God it's highly esteemed
For when we turn from sinning to God
God's favor comes our way
Now we can live rejoicingly
With a desire to trust and obey

Praise is comely for God's children
Our eyes have seen the Light
Now we no longer walk in darkness
Walking with Him is our chief delight
To know the God of Abraham...Isaac
The God who led Moses too
As a personal Saviour and a Friend
Is a blessing felt through and through

Praise is comely for God's children
What love our Father bestows
Even unto the least of deserving
His love no boundary knows
Calvary is history's Centre
The Cross! ...The gift of God's Son!
The blood that was shed there for me one day
Made praise comely for this one! ...

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
