Prayer Is The Highway To Heaven! Poem by Denis Martindale

Perhaps some Christians dream and pray, and preach for all they're worth,
Perhaps God hears them night and day, and knows they, too, can serve.
When revelation's seen and heard, it kind of changes things,
Ask any saint who loves God's Word and Christ, the King of Kings.

Disciples tried to stay awake as Jesus agonised,
Yet even flesh must take a break, as recognised by Christ.
To pray for good things, now and then, seems what most tend to do,
Yet God knows Christians born again who keep God's Throne in view.

No greater love on Earth was shown to take Man's sins away,
Christ felt such shame no man has known, before or since that day.
Prayer warriors think of the lost, and mourn for such a loss,
To think, Lord Jesus paid the cost, right there upon His Cross.
