Premeditated In Hypothetical Thoughts Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Premeditated In Hypothetical Thoughts

Premeditated thoughts,
Sought to provoke.
And brought into action.
Done to then claim,
One's freedom of speech.
With a promoting of havoc.
Destruction.
And threatening lives,
Inside hiding...
In the halls of justice.
Can not be called,
'Freedom Of Speech'.
Although...
That would depend,
On the influence...
The thoughts one has.
Status.
And claimed money to have.
To express,
Freely their thoughts.
And then to choose,
To freely be in a safe place.
Away from the chaos,
They instigated.
With it then to be defended,
By the ones who say...
They are following orders.
And given approval to destroy!

'Your actions to perform them,
Can not be justified...
As 'freedom of speech'.'

-Okay, cool. I can dig it.
But...
Hypothetically speaking,
If I followed...
What someone else told me,
I should do.
And they had the freedom,
To tell me that.
Is it possible by 'proxy'...
I use their freedom of speech?
In exchange for mine?
And replace,
With action they instigate? -

'I'll tell you this...
What about some alone time,
Locked up in a prison cell.
Giving me 'your' time,
To think about...
How you permitted yourself,
To mess up your life...
For someone else.'

-I DON'T BELIEVE THIS!
My 'ex'...
Said the same thing to me.
Years ago.-

'And I bet,
It wasn't hypothetical either! '
