Prepared To Masquerade Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Prepared To Masquerade

The best way these days,
To make an unintended impression made.
Is remain being oneself.
Exposing flaws and imperfections.
With a doing to refuse what others choose.
A losing their true identities,
Behind a mask.
Continuing a task to label others fake.
While they charade on a daily basis,
Imitating false faces prepared to masquerade.
And done to do this to intend it!
