Present Scene Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Present Scene

Rating: 5.0

The sky did not fall
World did not give call
Kenyan toll is rising
World leaders are still promising

“We shall tackle terrorism”
”It is sheer madness and shame”
Many more voices may come form different part
Only human lives may depart

Africa has remained troubled continent
Either dictator rules or pirates at present
People suffer with lots of misery
There is nothing more to feel sorry

Enough of melodrama there
You see anarchy here and everywhere
It thrives on out side fund
Honest rule has lost ground

Guns are not silent
People’s rule is absent
The economy is in shamble
They are inviting more and more troubles

Green Africa has tuned into desert
Almost all the trees are cut
Famine is everywhere and can be seen
Lawlessness and misrule is present scene
