Prestige Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Prestige

Rating: 5.0

Person looses his prestige and honor
If he picks up quarrel and involves more
In day today affairs at home and outside
The differences grow and gap is widened

The words must be soft spoken
The delicate touch and elegance must be given
The language is reflection of inner mind
It is like mirror and gives impression of this kind

Go anywhere but make presence felt
The use of words must be like fragrance and smelt
Person looses self respect by excessive talk
He is ignored even in morning time when goes for walk

Speak only when it is necessary
Open the tongue when you feel it is compulsory
It may enhance your personality
If words are used with modesty

The cuckoo is preferred to crow
The unwanted man is allowed to go
No one takes note of his exist
The good people are in demand and insisted

If you find the situation uncomfortable
Try to avoid future troubles
The best way shall be to keep mum
The bad effect may be reduced to minimum
