Priests And Politicians Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Priests And Politicians

Angels nor innocent as a bird,
Hungry hounds hunting hares in a herd,
Promising rich morrows,
Wiping out vague sorrows,
And still, world is turning out sour curd.
____________________________________________________
Politicians and priests, both survive exploiting vested interests. Both need miserable men, not a happy world. A happy world would care little for them. A miserable man obeys, submits, and believes in what they promise. A happy man is not enamoured by promised paradise. But in poorer countries this tribe prospers.
