Proceed With Caution Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Proceed With Caution

Rating: 5.0

The storm swept away
Straying camouflaged reminders
Of coverups and rusting grins.
A full cleansing has taken place
And those once trusted proceed with caution.
Too afraid their absence of integrity
Will leave their yachts to land against the rocks.
To expose their cargo of hoodwinkers, crooks...
And other fleeing, high powered crying snots!

Ohh but it is poetic to be meager and dim about certain things when everything is surging the other way.
