Profound Silence Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Profound Silence

Rating: 5.0

The weary pilgrim
Knocked the door
Of the old mansion
In the dark night,
But nobody responded,
He waited for a while
And then knocked the door again............
This time louder,
Still nobody answered,
Only profound silence prevailed,
The tired pilgrim became extremely disappointed,
All of a sudden........
Someone whispered,
'You have already been answered.'
