Progress Poem by Samuel Santana

Progress

Progress
Samuel Santana

When in my country the ambition
come to the end,
We will have streets full of flowers,
healthy elderly,
cheerful schools,
strengthened and green trees,
birds without fear,
fish swimming,
houses painted with beautiful colors,
bright streets,
tables saturated with the fragrant of the hot bread,
workers singing joyfully
in the factories.
So then,
anyone
could rule the country.
