I couldn't believe
And live
With excitement
The situation was delicate

How could it become possible?
I was poem writer and looked simple
There were no special metaphore used in verses
Still I was fortunate enough to claim prizes

But one thing is for sure
Honest struggle put up bymakes future
It grants berth permanently
You are appreciated presently

It inspires to work more
And get adoration
From readers and institutions as well
Your name gets prominence in circle

I look at prizes and feel
So much of satisfaction to tell
That it pays in the long run
Even though you have started this passion for fun
