Promise
I may not be the phenomenon
I want to be.
But I shall try to be the change
That you want to see
I silently made this promise
to almighty.
Short, but yet well spoken. Keep your promise, they can mean much to some people. breaking them could ruin them.
Prayer like promise. A very simple poem with great big meaning. Length in a poem is not necessary always, it is how powerful that matters. Big things come in small packages! This is very dear from the heart. Alot of readers can understand the feeling in this poem, they will relate. Bravo! Deborah Cromer
