Promises Of Nothing Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Promises Of Nothing

Thinking deeply about social issues, seeing through politicians campaign speeches, directly to what they're really saying.
Their lies come to light - brightly leading unsuspecting people astray.
More importantly, those who can't seem to think for themselves.
Resorting to promises they never intend to keep, talks that say nothing as they do what they say - Nothing.
