Protection By A False Projection Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

Protection By A False Projection

It's unending disaster.
Another hole in the wall, where is the god damn plaster.
We got to fix this.
Before anyone notices.
Fabrication in the truth to believe.
A web of lies to weave.
Not to deceive, not atleast conventionally.
An ego vainly imagined.
So dashing, everybody's hero.
Who are we kidding.
A statue erected not of gold, platinum, or even stone.
Hot air alone.
But maybe with a thick enough skin and a self sealant.
It will stand tall and continue to rise.
Dubious is the unending compromise of self respect.
Too much neglect.
Surrounded by enemies you created.
You left so jaded.
Always jumping in to shield you.
Because if you fall so they do.
Slighted in the worst kind of way.
Guilty by association.
Part of the cult of indoctrination.
Creating chaos no matter where you go or which way you move.
A continuous power vacuum.
A pledge to get sucked right on in.
With crimes to commit.
And they are certainly committed to the false gods.
With a hand shake and a nod.
How much should I prod.
Wonder what would shake loose.
Do you truly understand what it means to hold on to the golden goose.
A persona so predictable, acting the nightmare of a foretold tragedy.
And with so much death yet on the horizon, is there anything an honorable man can do against the illusion you create.
A vampire killed with a white oak stake.
If only you could be dispatched so easily.
You're still thriving on all the hate.
And I already fear it too late.
