Likened to that of a gnawing gnat
who has taken up temporary residence
on a poetic elephants rump; gnawing off
more than he chews, with his tiny mouthfuls
of tough hide. The gnat is truly deceived as to
the actual size of his always critical bite; until
the tail of reality swipes the smile off his face….
And the poetic elephant leaves him
in a big pile of dong….
