Prowling Tiger Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Prowling Tiger

Tiger, tiger, prowling fierce and silent
Creeping sly among jungle shadows
Following a scent trail between the trees
Seeking prey to fill an empty belly.

Tiger, tiger, sleeps then hunts again
Camouflaged with strips of yellow and black
Blending in with the jungle's symmetry
Unseen, deadly beautiful big cat supreme.
