Psalm-67 (Original) Poem by Walterrean Salley

Psalm-67 (Original)

(Psalm of Devotion: a commitment to praise.)

My soul, abandon your cares.
Shake off your weariness
And cast aside your infirmity.
Arise and praise the Lord.

With the lavishing of affections,
Set your heart upon him
Whose heart is unto you.
And let your love be to him
With eyes for him only.

Like waters rushing over a divide,
And like the fountain of water
That constantly springs forth—
So let your praises pour,
Oh my soul.
