Pseudo Tears Poem by Xelam Kan™

Pseudo Tears

Rating: 5.0

Like a phantom
in the sinking sun
I am walking
ahead of a 'marching funeral'
where i m coffined
in Whites and
being taken
away from 'lights'.
But I am followed by
bands of maroon, dressed in
gloomy dark and look
bright and gay, but
appear to be 'blue and down'
with pseudo tears.

oh! i see you have changed it a bit. ok, now the pseudo tears part seems to fit better with 'bright and gay' (which you changed) . i have heard of 'professional mourners'. perhaps you have some of them at your funeral? sorry i couldn't make it there on time. this shall appear in my/our November A showcase for PH poets, Section A, which is for poems of 12 lines or less....even though this has 14 lines. i can do THAT 'cause i RUN the showcases. ha ha! bri :)
