HAS to be dealt
with in order
for healing to
take place.

Shneidman,

psychological pain
is caused by
frustrated
psychological needs.

For example,
the need for love,
autonomy,
affiliation,
and achievement,
or the need to
avoid harm, shame,
and embarrassment.

Such problems
have to be dealt
with and healing
will result.
