I am layman and don’t know
How to react and go
With heard of people around
And gain the ground
How shall I pray with words?
Will it do with bowing down of head alone?
Why don’t you shower some mercy?
O lord, creator or almighty
I know “I am selfish”
Utterly stupid and senseless
Despite death threat clearly seen on face
I try to save arrogant, murderers and cheaters
I know how to fool innocent people
Who knowingly close eyes and struggle?
I feel no pity but add to their woes
This is how my life leisurely goes
What do I do in your lovely land?
Not a single soul I wish to befriend
With jealousy and hatred
I try to create bad blood
Still you act with no wrath
Punish me with simple tool of death
Take me away along with many useless creatures
Why are you adding more sufferers?
Self realization is the best education and realizing one's own weaknesses along with their acceptance requires great moral strength. Man is mortal and death is certain, though with unpredictable passionate timings, hence no need to put it on our wish list. Enjoyed reading the soliloquy. Thanks for sharing.10+

To me it looks like a comment on the legal practitioners in our courts who sometimes act against their conscience to save their clients. A very thoughtful treatise: O lord, creator or almighty / I know “I am selfish” / I try to save arrogant, murderers and cheaters / I know how to fool innocent people / This is how my life leisurely goes.
